Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI)
CFTSI an evidence-based treatment for children between the ages of 7-18 and a caregiver. This short-term, early intervention model begins within 45 days of a potentially traumatic event or disclosure of abuse. Families typically complete CFTSI within 5 to 8 sessions.
Goals of treatment include:
Identify trauma symptoms early and prevent PTSD
Introduce coping skills for reducing child’s reactions to traumatic stress
Facilitate child-caregiver communication
Help families identify and overcome service barriers
Assess whether the child and family would benefit from further treatment
Participation has proven to:
Increase coping skills
Improves child-caregiver communication
Strengthen positive parenting practices
Decrease the need for longer-term treatment
I am available for online sessions only. More information on practice policies and fees can be found here.
Schedule a free 15 minute consultation or email anchorandfields@gmail.com to determine whether this could be a good fit for your family.
Therapeutic Beekeeping
Therapeutic beekeeping is a complementary therapeutic practice that offers guided interactions with honey bee hives to build mindfulness, sensory awareness, and connection to living systems.
Goals of beekeeping sessions include:
Learn basic bee biology, behaviors, and cycles
Build sense of safety and control in the presence of a honey bee hive
Tune into breath, body sensations, and emotional state
Provide opportunities to practice regulating anxiety or activation through breathwork, resourcing, and supportive guidance
Build trust and relational presence by observing bee behavior
Participation has proven to:
Improve recognition of cues of safety in the environment and within the bodies
Decrease depression and anxiety symptoms
Decrease frequency and intensity of trauma reactions
Increased sense of purpose, belonging, and connection
I will begin accepting clients for therapeutic beekeeping in Spring 2026. Please check back to schedule a consultation.
