Services
Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI)
CFTSI an evidence-based treatment for children between the ages of 7-18 and a caregiver. This short-term, early intervention model begins within 45 days of a potentially traumatic event or disclosure of abuse. Families typically complete CFTSI within 5 to 8 sessions.
Goals of treatment include:
Identify trauma symptoms early and prevent PTSD
Introduce coping skills for reducing child’s reactions to traumatic stress
Facilitate child-caregiver communication
Help families identify and overcome service barriers
Assess whether the child and family would benefit from further treatment
Participation has proven to:
Increase coping skills
Improves child-caregiver communication
Strengthen positive parenting practices
Decrease the need for longer-term treatment

Trauma-Informed Parenting Support
Trauma-Informed Parenting Support is designed for parents and caregivers who want guidance in supporting a child who has experienced a stressful or traumatic event. These sessions focus on helping caregivers better understand trauma responses in children while also exploring how their own experiences, stress, or emotional reactions may influence parenting in difficult moments.
Goals of treatment include:
Help caregivers understand how stressful life experiences, transitions, and traumas affect children’s emotions, behavior, sleep, and sense of safety
Increase caregivers’ confidence in responding to acute stress or trauma-related behaviors and reactions
Supporting caregivers in recognizing how their own stress or past experiences may shape parenting reactions
Strengthen communication and emotional connection between caregivers and children
Teach practical strategies that help children regulate emotions
Build a predictable, supportive environment that promotes recovery and resilience
Caregivers who participate often report feeling more confident and less overwhelmed in their parenting role. They gain a clearer understanding of their child’s behavior and develop tools to respond in ways that promote safety, connection, and healing.
Caregivers are not expected to be perfect or have all the answers. Instead, this service provides a compassionate space to reflect, learn practical strategies, and strengthen the caregiver-child relationship during challenging times.

Build sense of safety and control in the presence of a honey bee hive
Tune into breath, body sensations, and emotional state
Provide opportunities to practice regulating anxiety or activation through breathwork, resourcing, and supportive guidance

Participation has proven to:
Improve recognition of cues of safety in the environment and within the bodies
Decrease depression and anxiety symptoms
Decrease frequency and intensity of trauma reactions
Increased sense of purpose, belonging, and connection
